Tour Plan

Upon your arrive at Pipariya railway station (nearest to Pachmarhi) our driver will receive you and you will be taken through the scenic Satpura hills to Pachmarhi. Once you reach check-in at your pre-booked hotel and take rest. Afterwards you will be taken to visit Jatashankar Cave Temple which is a natural cavern where sacred streams flow and Shivling-like rock formations are found. After that you will proceed to Gupt Mahadev Temple which is a narrow cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and where only a few people can enter at a time. Following that you will be taken to visit the massive Bada Mahadev Cave which is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu defeated demon Bhasmasura. In the evening you will be taken to enjoy a walk around the Reechgarh Rock Shelter which is a stunning natural amphitheater, before heading back to your hotel for overnight stay

After an early breakfast you will be taken to Chauragarh Temple which is famous for thousands of tridents (trishuls) offered by devotees. This temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Satpura ranges. After that you will proceed towards Handi Khoh which is a mystical gorge steeped in mythological lore. After that you will check out from your hotel and begin your drive towards Bhimbetka Rock Shelters which is located near Bhopal. You also get to explore this UNESCO site which features prehistoric cave paintings that date back thousands of years. After that you will be dropped off at Bhopal railway station or airport for your onward journey.
