Tour Plan
Upon your arrival at Bhopal airport or railway station our driver will pick you up and you will be driven to Sanchi. Once you reach your exploration will begin with the iconic Great Stupa which was built by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, you get to walk through the beautifully carved toranas (gateways). Following that you get to visit the Ashokan Pillar, monasteries and the Sanchi Museum, you also get a heritage walk to nearby stupas and temples on the Sanchi hill. After that you will be driven back to Bhopal for the overnight stay at a hotel.
After a healthy breakfast you will check-out from your hotel and then you will proceed to Bhimbetka Rock Shelters. You will get to explore the fascinating prehistoric cave paintings dating back to the Paleolithic era depicting hunting scenes, animals and daily life. Afterward you will be driven to Udayagiri Caves to witness the early Gupta-period rock-cut caves which include the famous image of Vishnu in his Varaha (boar) avatar. After that you will be driven back to Bhopal where you will be dropped at your preferred location for departure.
